THE COTTAGE ROOM
This room contains two twin beds. The beds are dressed with “ 1940s Cottage” print quilts that lend the room its name. The cottage motif is continued with its folk-art chest of drawers and vintage tramp art – Popsicle Stick – lamp. Two large bird prints, purchased from Senator Moynihan’s estate hang above the beds. Additional vintage bird prints, a vintage Armenian travel poster and other original art, including a Bernard Altman lithograph complete this room. It overlooks the terrace and gardens. It has an adjoining bath.

THE CAPE ROOM
People often tell us that they have had the best night’s sleep they’ve ever had in this room. It has a king-sized bed covered in a burgundy matelasse spread . It is furnished with an antique Empire mahogany dresser. An antique crazy quilt, done in men’s suiting fabrics, hangs over the bed. There is a muted antique Aubisson rug on the floor. Original art and a comfortable floral print covered easy chair, in which you can curl up and read, complete the room. It is a corner room and overlooks the garden, mature specimen pines and the barn. It has a bathroom en-suite.

THE BLUE ROOM
This smaller room is a personal favorite because it is so serene. The blue, though intense, is the perfect background for the many black and white artworks. It is furnished with a queen-sized bed whose woven Ikat bedskirt complements the 1950s era colorful Kilim rug. Vintage 1930s English embroideries, an antique Japanese pen and ink and other original art contribute to the peacefulness of this room. It overlooks the pond and our beautiful Horse Chestnut tree. There is a bath across the hall.

THE SUMMER ROOM
This room is yellow and has a variety of floral accents. The Summer Room has a queen bed covered in a denim and soutash duvet and a single bed in an adjoining sitting room. This room has two separate sitting areas and has a warm and lively feel to it. It has a variety of original art, pottery and vintage furniture, collected throughout our travels. It is a great choice for parents who want their young child to sleep in the same room. It overlooks our Horse Chestnut tree and the pond. There is a bath across the hall.

THE PINE ROOM
The Pine Room with its ornate “Gothic” queen-sized bed, gets it’s name from the specimen pines growing just outside its windows. This room is filled with original botanical photographs collected in Edinburgh Scotland and houses a great collection of antique embroidered cottages gathered from across Europe and the United States. There is a sitting area furnished with bent twig furniture and a bath across the hall.
